I love my new phones. I am having one problem though and cannot figure out how to fix it. For some reason the day listed on voice mails is one day behind although the date seems to be correct. I need to fix this but not sure how. The phone work very well, are comfortable to my hand and ears and I like the loud ring tone. So glad I bought these.
The phones arrived in good condition. After unpacking and setting up, they worked perfectly and they were replacing another set of V Tech phones that were 9 years old and were showing some signs of battery fatigue.
I love these phones I had the same ones for 8 years and I thought it was time to buy a new set. I may have needed to replace the batteries but I just bought a new set.
I just replaced my current V-tech phones with another set. I was having some issues with my phone(s)--(and I've had the old set many years) and thought it was my batteries. Rather then replacing all the batteries, I figured it was almost as cost-effective to get new ones--which I did. Turns out, it was NOT my phones, but a problem with my phone line. So obviously, I could have kept my old V-tech phones after all! But I'm keeping the new ones; I figure they should last a long time as well. I would definitely recommend V-Tech phones.
Looking forward to receiving this newer technology to replace a 15 year old system that worked extremely well. I expect the quality and functionality of this system to be markedly improved over the older system !1
Getting to the directory of phone numbers requires 5 keystrokes whereas our old phone needed only 1. Therefore this phone is not easy for the elderly to learn.
The set up was easily done. We had a previous edition of Vtech, but miss the beep alerting us for messages left. Don't care for the announced incoming calls, you cannot understand her! Otherwise, it's a good phone.
I love it. It has done exactly what I hoped and it has made my life better. I have two lines in my house, one cable and one Verizon My cable line did not have walk around. Now I have access to both in my most important locations. That was my goal. I would give you a five but I don’t want you to become complacent. Also one of the chargers is a bit touchy on getting contact. No big deal, it works.
My previous wireless phones lasted for seven years and replaced all of the batteries once. I hope for the same long givity. I've use these for a month, they do not drop when walking around the house. The speaker phone's audio, on the phones, is a little weak.
Two major negatives. One: The phones will not stand upright by themselves. Two: The talk and the off buttons are not illuminated. These two issues are deal breakers for us. I am searching for replacements as we speak ...
